The Dotted Line

He wakes cold sweat stinging sleepy eyes
And he dreams about it once again
The dream makes no sense in its fiery demise
And he starts to crack his heavy head.

And he don’t wanna know and he don’t really care
He just wants forty winks in his bed
But his demon’s got ‘im chained and there’s no escape
And he hears the evil chant in his head

He says don’t let me down you’ve signed on the dotted line
Don’t let me down, don’t forget that you’re all mine

And he’s stuck in a hole, she comes home to his jeweled home
She can’t believe it, he’s happily free to trample over anyone as she

Spends her days pushing back the waves
Made strong by rules of thumb
And she dodges and weaves with firm beliefs
And she never once did succumb
And she don’t wanna know and she don’t really care
She just wants to do the right thing
So she works doubly hard till the morning hours as she hears her boss’s words as he sings, he sings

You’re own your own, choices you make give you reasons to atone, don’t deny it
The only way is to listen to your demons as they say

Take that
One step slip down to my web
Said the red demon sitting on the bed
She came one night slipping by a dream
Twisting and turning reality
He did much less than he chose to spew
Pissing out tales you already knew
He thinks he might try and get away again
Round 2 egothoritarian
It took a lil’ time but I did survive
Never wished more for a 9 to 5, I
Will stand I will prevail
Life’s too short for you lot to bail
My papa once said you wait and see
You never gonna run your reality,
If that’s how my life is gonna be done
I rather put my head down a barrel a gun

And he’s stuck in a hole, she comes home to his jeweled home
She can’t believe it, the only way is to listen to your demons as they say

Don’t let me down, you’ve signed on the dotted line
Don’t let me down don’t forget that you’re all mine

Don’t forget that you’re all mine x3

Don’t let me down x3
Don’t forget that you’re all mine
